About Prack Pilates

Meet Souli

Souli is the down-to-earth person behind Prack Pilates. She brings close attention, clear explanations and a sense of humour to every session.

How Souli teaches

Souli does not take herself too seriously. If you are nervous, she is more likely to tell you about something she once got wrong than make a big deal out of what you are finding difficult. She knows everyone has a first Pilates session, and she wants people to feel comfortable while they learn.

She pays attention without putting people on the spot. In a group class, she will come over to help rather than call across the room. If an explanation is not landing, she will try another way. If several people miss the same instruction, her first thought is that she needs to explain it better.

That easy manner sits alongside a precise way of teaching. Souli slows things down, returns to the fundamentals and helps people understand what they are doing before adding more challenge.

Her aim is simple: help people feel better, move better and enjoy life. How a movement feels and functions matters more than how it looks.

The Prack approach

Prack Pilates reflects Souli's personality: calm, practical and welcoming, with room for a laugh. The studio is not about performing for the room or keeping up for the sake of it. It is a place to pay attention, ask questions and move with control.

Different sessions offer different levels of guidance. Personalised Studio Pilates uses the wider range of apparatus for closer instruction. Small-group Reformer follows a shared class structure. In both, Souli wants people to understand the work, not simply copy the person next to them.

Some days progress means adding resistance or trying something new. Other days it means slowing down and doing the fundamentals well. The goal is not to make Pilates look impressive. It is to make the work useful to the person doing it.
